The Gun Shed is a licensed firearms and outdoor store at Helensvale on the Gold Coast. Firearms, ammunition, bows, optics and field gear, for hunters, sport shooters and the people who manage pest pressure for a living.

The reason to buy from us is not the catalogue. Plenty of places have a catalogue. It is that the gear on these pages gets used by the people selling it, in the sort of country that finds the weak point in anything. Cattle stations, river flats, heat, dust, and a long walk back if something fails. What survives that is what we stock.

It also means we will tell you when the cheaper option is fine, and when it absolutely is not. With optics, that conversation usually saves people money rather than costing it.

What else we do

We service and repair what we sell, and plenty we did not. We fit and bore sight optics, and tune bows to the person shooting them. We broker firearms for people selling up or trading across. And we run wholesale accounts for rural suppliers and pest management contractors who need volume and reliable supply.
